Matteo Zorzenoni is distinguished by a style rooted in continuous material research and in the ability to unlock unexpected potential, such as creating glass in concrete, structures in glass and tables in liquid metal. This approach has made him one of the most promising Italian designers.
His projects have been presented in some of the most important exhibitions and institutions worldwide, including the MAXXI in Rome, the Triennale di Milano, the London Design Festival, the Centre Pompidou and the Venice Architecture Biennale.
He has taught at IUAV in Venice and leads workshops and courses for IED in Madrid, Domaine de Boisbuchet (Vitra Design Museum), Fabrica, Mexico Design Week and Kozice.
After a long experience as a consultant for Fabrica, he currently works alongside Jaime Hayon, overseeing the Italian branch of his studio, and manages the art direction of Dall’Agnese and Nason Moretti Lab.
At the same time, he continues his research in the world of high quality craftsmanship and develops new projects for clients such as Cappellini, Mercedes Benz, Replay, Alcantara, Benetton, Bosa, Miniforms, Somethingood, Agusta Westland, MM Lampadari, Scapin Collezioni, Torremato, Nason Moretti, Novamobili, Dall’Agnese, Bolzan and others.
